The FC Schwalbe v. 1899 eV is one of the largest sports clubs in Hanover with more than 1,000 members. In the south of the state capital, the members can use a wide range of sports, including gymnastics, volleyball and tennis. In his hometown part of Döhren, FC Schwalbe is the largest sports club. The association, founded in 1899 in Döhren, maintains a long tradition.
